Approved herbicides will be applied to selected road verges, roadsides and sidewalks to control weed growth.

All applications will be carried out by trained and authorised personnel.

The spraying schedule and specific dates for affected streets will be communicated in advance through municipal communication channels and the Ward Committee WhatsApp group.

Residents are requested to keep children and pets away from treated areas until the spray has dried completely.

For more information, residents may contact the Parks Department via the Citizen App or by email at enquiries@overstrand.gov.za (for the attention of Samkelo).
