Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Infrastructure Services, Councillor Clinton Lerm, shared a few words on Müller’s legacy, saying:
“Do not underestimate what Stephen has done for the Overstrand. He has helped position our Municipality as one that is admired by many others. He is not someone who seeks a place on the pedestal and has always been content to allow politicians to ‘cut the ribbon’ while he focused on the hard work behind the scenes.
For the past two decades, the Municipality has grown into a jewel that consistently delivers. The many awards received by the Directorate, together with the infrastructure projects delivered under his leadership, have contributed significantly to the growth and development of the Overstrand.
Director Müller has earned the respect of colleagues, councillors and professionals throughout local government, and his contribution to the area will be felt for many years to come.
We thank him for his dedication and wish him well in his retirement.”
