Western Cape – The Western Cape Government Department of Infrastructure is inviting unemployed youth aged 18 to 34 years from the Overstrand to apply for a Concreter NQF Level 3 training opportunity.

Unemployed Youth Application Requirements

NQF L2/Grade 10/NCV L2

Experience in construction, EPWP programmes, facility maintenance, roadworks, environmental cleaning, waste management or renewable energy projects.

Requirements:
• Good health and willingness to undergo medical and substance abuse screening.
• Physically fit to work on construction sites, including at heights.
• Willing to travel and work at sites across the Western Cape.
• Must sign a 12-month Training Agreement.

Stipend:
R3 000 per month for the duration of the Training Agreement.
Applicants can use facilities at any Overstrand Library, Thusong Centre, Hawston E-Centre or personal smartphones to register on the SA Youth.Mobi platform.
